Gov. Charlie Baker was joined Thursday by New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and other guests to have their heads shaved for cancer awareness.

The governor's office said Baker has had a buzz-cut four years in a row at Granite Telecommunications' annual Saving by Shaving event.

The event, held in Quincy, raises awareness for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and pancreatic cancer research.

Some of the other dignitaries who joined the governor were Red Sox President Sam Kennedy and Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch.
