Body found in West Greenwich identified as missing Coventry man
A body that was found in West Greenwich has been identified as 50-year-old Michael Neary, whose wife reported him missing a week ago.
Col. Ann C. Assumpico of the Rhode Island State Police said the discovery was made in the Big River Management Area Wednesday afternoon, noting that his body was found by a group of volunteers who continued look for him after the official ground search was suspended on Monday.
“An autopsy conducted this morning determined that the cause of death was not suspicious and no foul play was involved,” Assumpico said
Neary’s body was found just before 3 p.m. He was located about a quarter mile from an area that had previously searched.
