Fire destroys East Greenwich house

A home in East Greenwich partially collapsed in a fire.

The fire broke out at about 1 a.m. Sunday at a home on Forest Lane.

Several area towns sent tankers to provide water to fight the flames.

East Greenwich officials told NBC 10 News that everyone made it out of the home safely.

Red Cross officials were assisting the residents.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
