Five-foot python found in Worcester manhole
Workers from Worcester's Department of Public Works said they made a slippery discovery when they spotted a five-foot long ball python slithering in a manhole.
The city’s DPW crew posted a photo of the snake on social media Friday morning, noting that animal control transported the reptile to a facility to be cared for.
“All in a day’s work for DPW&P!” they wrote on Twitter.
No one was harmed.
