Police say Newport Cliff Walk vandals turned themselves in

The Newport Police are asking for the public's help in identifying two people accused of vandalizing the Cliff Walk with spray paint. (Police photo)

Newport Police told NBC 10 News that two people turned themselves into investigators in connection with the vandalized Newport Cliff Walk.

According to police, Jocelyn Senecal, 22, of East Providence and Jenna Senecal, 22, of East Providence turned themselves into Newport Police on Saturday morning.

They are both charged with one count of graffiti and one count of conspiracy. Both charges are misdemeanors.

They were processed and released and are scheduled to appear in Newport District Court December 13, 2017.

The Newport Police had asked for the public's help in identifying two suspects accused of vandalizing the Cliff Walk with spray paint.

The incident allegedly took place last Saturday afternoon.
