The Cranston Police Department is asking the public to help them identify a man who stole more than $100 of seafood and soda from a supermarket.

Authorities released three photos of the suspect on Thursday.

Police said they responded to the Stop and Shop at 275 Warwick Ave. on January 23 after they received a report about a shoplifter.

"The suspect was able to leave before our arrival and eventually made off with lobster, shrimp and soda valued in excess of $100.00," police noted on Facebook.

Police said the man is approximately 20 years old. He has dark hair and was wearing what appeared to be a purple jacket and khaki-colored pants, police said.

The suspect fled the scene in a 2007 Ford Fusion, according to authorities.
