Providence Fire crews respond to early morning fire

Providence Fire crews were on the scene of a two-alarm fire around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.

A dozen people, including some children, were displaced by the fire at 164 Gallup Street, which is comprised of apartments and a grocery store on the first floor.

Battalion Chief Craig Grantham told NBC10 the fire started in the store and spread to the other floors.

All occupants made it out of the structure without injury.
