RIPTA says beach express service ends Aug. 14
RIPTA says sun worshippers can take advantage of express service to South County beaches for one more week.
The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority said Monday that express service to South County beaches will end for the season on Aug. 14.
RIPTA said year-round service to South County beaches is available on Route 66 (URI/Galilee) from Kennedy Plaza, running every 55 minutes during the week, every 45 minutes on Saturday, and every 60 to 75 minutes on Sunday.
