Twin River employees arrested on drug charges
Four Twin River employees have been arrested on drug charges, according to authorities.
Col. Ann C. Assumpico of the Rhode Island State Police said server Kyle Dorez, 30, of Woonsocket, was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, as well as two counts of possession/delivery of a controlled substance-schedule II. The drugs included Adderall and Vicodin.
Table games dealer Connor Evans, 31, of Warwick, was charged with one count of possession/delivery of Alprazolam.
Meanwhile, servers Elizabeth Sankey, 52, of Smithfield, and Megan Menard, 25, of North Smithfield, were both charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance, which was Adderall.
Assumpico said the arrests were made in November and December.
A spokeswoman from Twin River said the casino is cooperating in the ongoing investigation, "where one employee has been terminated and three other suspended pending further investigation."
The suspects were all arraigned and released pending future court hearings.
