Webster Bank says 'processing delay' has been resolved
Webster Bank said Friday that a processing delay that prevented some customers from seeing their bank balances has been resolved.
"The system issue has been resolved and the accounts are in the process of being updated. Be assured that your accounts remain secure," Webster Bank tweeted at about 2:30 p.m.
Webster Bank said it would waive any fees and reimburse customers for any penalties that the disruption may have incurred.
The bank did not provide any details about the cause of the disruption.
Webster Bank said it apologized for the inconvenience.
