NYT: Americans cite economic reasons for having fewer children
NEW YORK (LilaMax Media) —
Three of the top four reasons people are having fewer children than they'd like are economic, according to a New York Times survey. The expense of child care was the top reason, with 64 percent of people saying that is why they are not having kids. The U.S. fertility rate is at a record low for the second consecutive year.
President Trump criticized Pfizer and other drug companies for raising the price of dozens of drugs this month. Trump tweeted that they are taking advantage of poor people. Pfizer raises prices on drugs including Viagra and others.
Nordstrom plans to open more stores with no inventory. The shops, called Nordstrom Local, are more about providing an experience and include services such as a seamstress, a nail salon and a bar. The stores will be added in Los Angeles and New York.
A new game show will pay off student debt. Tuesday, truTV is set debut a new game show called "Paid Off." The show will give three college debt-carrying contestants -- who are mostly in their late 20s or early 30s -- a chance to wipe away 100 percent of their loans.
