Texas day care has message for parents: 'Get off your phone'
One of the day care’s parents, Juliana Farris Mazurkewicz, shared a photo of a sign posted on the center’s front door on her Facebook page, and it’s gaining national attention. So far, the post has been shared more than 1.1 million times.
The day care’s message asks parents to get off their phones while picking up their children. The center says it's witnessed children trying to get their parents' attention and show them their work, but the parents were more interested in their phones.
The center calls the trend appalling: “Your child is happy to see you! Are you happy to see your child?”
