Tech This Out: Windows Phone 8X by HTC

You can do the same thing on all smartphones. Call. Text. Email.

The functions are pretty much all the same. Download apps and use the internet. So what really differentiates one from the next?

When it comes to picking out a cellphone-its about an operating system and more importantly style.

I'd like to show you one sleek phone with a lot of style. Its the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.

Its slim and smooth thanks the the polycarbonate finish. Instead of a flat back, it has a nice curvature to it, making the phone easy to grip.
Forget black and white (ummm boring!) the 8X comes in four bright colors.

The screen is scratch resistant and its equiped with 4G. The battery life is pretty impressive too.

What you see on the screen is just as fancy as the outside. With Windows 8 you can totally customize your phone. Oh, and you can change it as often as you like.

The interface is set up to be user friendly and simple. This Windows model serves up live tiles so you pick what goes on the homescreen.

My favorite features is the camera. Both the front and rear facing cameras have wide angle lenses. You get so much more picture than other camera phones I've tested. There's also a a countdown feature-the phone goes 3...2...1 and snaps the picture.

I've linked a few articles so you can read up more on the Windows Phone 8X by HTC.
