Give the gift of life! The RI Blood Center is on-site accepting blood donations and marrow registrations until 4pm. A simple blood test is all it takes and you can then add your name to the National Marrow Donor Program.

Family Safety Center Booth 538
Lots of important safety information will be shared at the Family Safety Center. The Center's helpful line-up includes:
CPR (adult, infant, and child), AED and “disaster Preparedness” demonstrations by the American Red Cross. Smithfield Fire Department will be offering blood pressure screenings, blood glucose levels, and blood oxygen levels. An interactive display with children’s activities, handouts and much more! The Smithfield Fire Department’s rescue vehicle will be on display and some of the Smithfield Firefighters will be available to answer your fire safety questions. Kids- McGruff the Crime Fighting Dog will be in attendance! McGruff will appear from 11am-1pm both Saturday & Sunday. Be sure to get your photograph with McGruff!

Stop by our mobile, prostate cancer screening vehicle which offers FREE screening for prostate cancer. The screenings are open to the public, are free, confidential, and no appointment is needed. All men should begin annual testing no later than ages 40 to 50 depending on race and family history.
