Only on 10: Robert Kraft chats with NBC 10's Emily Volz
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (WJAR) —
Minnesota is more than just football.
The Mall of America is a major attraction -- even New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft couldn't resist!
Emily Volz caught up with him Tuesday in an NBC 10 News exclusive. He told her about what the reception has been like in Minneapolis.
"Wonderful fans here. You have great local ownership with the Wolves, and I know what they've done to try to get the Vikings to where they are today. And we're excited to see the new facility. Haven't seen it yet," Kraft said.
Kraft said he arrived in Minnesota on Monday. He said he's looking forward to the big game.
But first, he's just going to enjoy the mall.
"We have a lot going on. I've never been to this mall, so that's exciting," he said.
When asked if he planned on doing any shopping, Kraft said, "Can't afford it, unless we have a good result Sunday."
Kraft, a man on a budget!
But he was certainly very appreciative of all the support the Pats are getting in Minnesota.
"People here are wonderful," he said.
