Patriots fans welcome Super Bowl LI champions home

New England Patriots fans anxiously awaited the team’s return to Foxborough a day after a victorious Super Bowl LI.

A massive crowd erupted as the champions rolled into Gillette Stadium Monday evening around 6 p.m., with players waving to their devoted following.

In the first-ever overtime game in Super Bowl history, Tom Brady perhaps solidified his place as the greatest quarterback of all time.

The Patriots had just a 0.2 percent chance of winning the game with 21 minutes to go. But they came from behind and won 34-28.

Despite the big win, many still can’t believe the team made it happen.

NBC 10’s Adam Bagni is in Foxborough, where he’s joined by a lot of excited fans.
