Tuesday's Child: Cammron finds family with single dad
A former foster child featured years ago wants you to know how his life turned out, thanks to a single dad.
"When I grow up I want to be a football player," Cammron told us in 2003 when he was featured on Tuesday's Child.
Tim Stowers was the URI football coach then, and he and his players welcomed Cammron.
Cammron told us what he was looking for in an adoptive family.
"I would like a family who is nice," he said.
Well, it turned out, his wish came true. After spending most of his childhood in state care, Cammron was adopted by Stuart, a single man from New York.
And the family is growing. Stuart has opened his home time and time again and adopted three additional boys, hoping that this inspires others to adopt.
