Robert has a dream. He wants to become a BMX rider. Adoption Rhode Island arraigned for him to learn from a pro.

Fearlessly they whip, spin, and fly at Skater's Edge in Taunton -- taking their two wheels to new heights.

And Case Taylor is one of the best. As a BMX pro, he can flawlessly execute jaw-dropping stunts and then dial it back to teach Robert a few tricks.

There's another common bond. Case was once a foster child, too. While Case was adopted as a baby, Robert is still waiting for the right family.

"Supportive. Never give up on me. Stay by my side if I ever need them," said Robert, explaining what he'd like in a family.

Case offers words of encouragement.

"Just keep trying," he says to Robert. "You've got a good personality."

What I noticed is that while Robert arrived alone, in no time he was surrounded by friends.

The teen "drops in" and attempts a very high ramp -- and is saved by his new buddies when it doesn't go as planned.

One of his best qualities, his determination.

"I'd be here like a week if I still haven't done it," Robert said.

Robert also shows courage that he can apply to any situation.

Those who know Robert say he is polite and friendly and would be a great addition to a family.
