Roads slick as snow hits Southern New England
Another batch of light, fluffy snow will push across Southern New England through Friday night, ending around midnight.
NBC 10 Meteorologist R.J. Heim said untreated surfaces will become slick, and visibilities will be reduced in the mid-evening hours.
Skies will clear after midnight, setting the stage for a dry, but cold rest of the weekend.
Temperatures will be moderate after that through midweek.
Some rain showers are possible Tuesday afternoon or evening.
Then, colder than average air rushes back in for the ramp up to Christmas.
Right now, it doesn't look like any major storm systems as we head towards the holiday, however, some flurries or light snow are possible.
We'll know better as we get closer.
