StormTeam10: Windy and colder Wednesday
Tuesday afternoon brought the feel of early spring...LOTS of sunshine and temps in the mid to upper 50s...Monday's gusty wind behind us...it was just a pleasant day to be outside!
Well...as we know, weather changes come fast and furious in March and that will certainly be the case Wednesday and Thursday:
The colder air will spill in early Wednesday with the coldest air and the strongest wind arriving in the midday & afternoon hours. Wind chills Wednesday afternoon and evening will be in the lower teens! Certainly bundle up the kids Wednesday since this cold air will be WELL in place as they get off the bus in the afternoon!
The wind gusts MAY reach over 40mph for some of us Wednesday afternoon...certainly strong enough to bring down some tree limbs & branches:
A Wind Advisory is in place for all of the area Wednesday from 8AM through 8PM...but again, it looks like the strongest wind will occur in the afternoon hours:
Keep an eye on the forecast right here and of course on NBC10 Wednesday, we'll keep you posted on this icy blast of wintry air...as well as some wintry weather POSSIBLY moving in later this weekend.
Thanks for reading...Mark
