Temps Dip For The Weekend

Talk about a warm way to start November. Tuesday's high temperature in Providence was 73°. Friday will be more of the same but a cold front will drop in from the west and cool things off for Saturday and Sunday.

As the front dips to the southeast, some isolated showers are possible between 6-9pm on Friday. It will move to the east quickly with high pressure dominating on Saturday. With a shift in wind direction, temperatures drop back towards seasonal averages with mostly sunny skies for the first half of the weekend.

By Sunday, another frontal system pushes in from the southwest to not only rise temperatures, but also bring back some scattered showers. As you see by the image below, it's not going to be a washout by any means, but it may dampen some outdoor plans. The image is showing 11am.

With clear, crisp, and cool conditions on Saturday and warmer temps with some showers Sunday, the weekend has something for everyone.
