Tuesday's storm takes a different path

Tuesday's storm tracks to our NW placing us on the mild side this time around.

We're in an active weather pattern right now as one system after another is seen on the 10 day forecast. Tuesday's storm track is different from Saturday's storm. This one pases to our northwest, placing us on the milder side of the system resulting in mostly rain for our area.

However, the National Weather Service extended a Winter Weather Advisory into northwest Rhode Island for early Tuesday morning due to the chance of a BIT of freezing drizzle sliding in before the southwest wind has a chance to warm inland locations above freezing.

Temperatures will warm to near 50° south & east of Providence in the midday hours as a southwest wind drives in milder air. Our warmest day of the week!

Bitterly cold air arrives early Wednesday with wind chills in the 10° range in the afternoon. More on this part of the forecast coming up later Tuesday.
