Weekend storm brings rain, wind

Another storm system rolling into Southern New England, this one overnight tonight. It's expected to bring high winds that could bring down trees, utility lines, causing power outages, blocking some roadways too. HIGH WIND WARNING & WIND ADVISORY for SW winds 20-55 mph overnight, then NW 20-55 mph Sunday. On/off periods of heavy rain, possibly a thunderstorm through Sunday morning. Winds will remain gusty through the Monday.

SATURDAY EVENING: Cloudy, periods of rain, some heavy, them becoming gusty, milder overnight. Temps rising into the 50's. SW winds 20-55 mph.

SUNDAY: Morning thunderstorm, then clearing, sun and clouds, still gusty NW winds 20-55 mph, chance of a passing afternoon shower. Temperatures in the 50's.

MONDAY: Sun, clouds, gusty, colder. High: upper 30's to near 40.
