RICHMOND, R.I. — A 15-year-old Richmond boy is now facing charges of child molestation.
Police said they arrested the teen on Jan. 3 after they were called to a home for a report that a child had been assaulted.
When officers arrived, the suspect jumped from a second story window of the home.
Police followed his footprints in the snow and found him wet and shivering at a swamp.
The teen is in the custody of Rhode Island Department of Children, Youth and Families awaiting trial. His name isn't being released because of his age.
