'America's Got Talent' to hold auditions in Providence

NBC will be auditioning performers for the upcoming ninth series of "America's Got Talent" early next year in Providence.

The AGT bus tour will stop at the Rhode Island Convention Center on Feb. 1. Remaining cities on the audition tour include Houston; Indianapolis; Nashville, Tenn.; Greensboro, N.C.; Baltimore and Los Angeles.

"America's Got Talent" is open to any age and any talent. Auditions are limited to 90 seconds.

"America's Got Talent" stars celebrity judges Howie Mandel, Mel B, Heidi Klum and Howard Stern, and host Nick Cannon. The top prize is $1 million.
