Car insurance survey ranks worst drivers by state
A recent survey from Car Insurance Comparison.com says the winner for the second year in a row is Louisiana.
Drivers in the Pelican State were propelled to Number 1 by finishing in the top five for failure to obey (traffic signals and seat belts), drunk driving, speeding tickets and careless driving.
Rounding out top five are South Carolina, Mississippi, Texas and Alabama.
Rhode Island ranked number 40, followed by Massachusetts at number 42, and Connecticut at 45. Vermont had the 'best' driver record at number 51.
