Trinity Repertory Company on Wednesday announced its upcoming 2024-2025 season. The season will include five shows, in addition to the yearly staging of "A Christmas Carol."

The first two shows of the season are "POTUS" and "Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt. 2B." Trinity Rep describes them as female-centric comedies. They will play in rotating repertory from Sept. 5 to Nov. 17.

Trinity's 48th edition of "A Christmas Carol" will arrive for the holiday season, but it will play somewhere other than Trinity because the Chace Theater will be undergoing renovations. Dates and a location will be announced later.

Trinity Rep will present the world premiere of "Someone Will Remember Us" in the new year. It is a follow-up to the previous production of "Boots on the Ground." It opens Jan. 23.

"La Tempestad — The Tempest" by William Shakespeare will run March 27 to April 27.

"Originally produced with Rhode Island Latino Arts for Teatro en El Verano, the organization’s bilingual summer theater program, this will be the first time a play from the program is performed in Trinity Rep’s subscription season," Trinity said in a release.

"Blues for an Alabama Sky" by Pearl Cleage will round out the season. It will be performed from May 29 to June 29.

Tickets and subscriptions are available at Trinity Rep.
