2-alarm fire in Fall River displaces 6, sends one to hospital

    A second-alarm fire in Fall River sent one person to the hospital and left several people without a place to live.

    Firefighters responded to South Main Street around 11:30 a.m. Saturday.

    Fall River Fire Chief John Lynch told NBC 10 News that a 39-year-old male was transported to Rhode Island Hospital with burn injuries.

    Chief Lynch also mentioned that six people were displaced by the fire and are being assisted by the Red Cross.

    The cause of the fire is under investigation.
