The Air Force One replica at Quonset, with its built in museum, is on the move.

The 747 was towed down Narragansett Bay on a barge Thursday, on the way to National Harbor, Maryland, where it will go on display again starting Oct. 9.

The jumbo jet was converted into the Air Force One Experience at Quonset State Airport, and opened as a museum. The plane cannot fly.

The owner paid tens of thousands of dollars in storage and parking fees to the state for some time.
