ATF and Woonsocket PD offer $1,500 reward in stolen gun case
Law enforcement agencies are offering up a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of two suspects accused to stealing a handgun from a Woonsocket firearms store.
The Woonsocket Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) announced the reward on Tuesday for the August 31st robbery at Bullseye Shooting and Supply.
The departments also circulated photos of the two suspects and the vehicle they were seen leaving in.
Authorities say a black male and a Hispanic male entered the store and teamed up in distracting the store’s manager and swiping a handgun that was on display on the countertop.
Police say the gun taken was a Smith & Wesson 22 caliber pistol.
The pair left in a dark colored Toyota sedan.
