The Benny’s store in Coventry closed for good Wednesday, following the closure Monday of the Benny's auto center on North Main Street in Providence.

That leaves nice locations still open, but they are on their way out.

A spokesman said merchandise from the previously closed stores has been consolidated into the remaining nine locations. A 50 percent off sale starts Thursday.

The Rhode Island stores still open are on Branch Avenue in Providence, Putnam Pike in Greenville, Atwood Avenue in Cranston, Post Road in East Greenwich, and Kingstown Road in Wakefield. The remaining Massachusetts stores are in Taunton-Raynham, Fall River, Plymouth and Dennisport.

All Benny's stores will be closed by the end of 2017, as the owners are retiring.
