Bird scooters have returned to Providence.
They were removed this summer after the city came out with guidelines and a permitting process.
Bird can have a maximum of 300 of its dockless electric scooters in the city. The company is also required to remove the scooters from the streets between sunset and sunrise.
Users who rent electric scooters from companies like Bird and Lime just leave them wherever they finish their ride unlike bike-share programs that use fixed docking stations.
