Boston marina fire does $1 million in damage

Several boats caught fire late Tuesday night at a marina in Boston's Charlestown neighborhood.

The fire was reported at about 11:20 p.m. Investigators said one boat caught fire and that the flames spread to two others. Two of the boats sank.

Diesel fuel on one of the boats kept igniting the flames.

A person living one of the boats escaped injury.

The fire department said the fire caused an estimated $1 million in damage.

The cause of the fire was under investigation.
