Breeze Airways on Tuesday announced two new destinations from Rhode Island T.F. Green International Airport.
Nonstop flights to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina, start Feb. 17. The flights will be offered for as low as $49 one way.
Breeze will also begin service to New Orleans -- with one stop, but no plane change -- on the same date.
“Breeze always looks for underserved routes where we can add nonstop flights, low fares and our brand of Seriously Nice service,” Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways’ president, said in a release. “We’re thrilled to announce new service from Providence to Raleigh-Durham, our 35th city, to three of our bases.”
Breeze previously announced it will begin nonstop flights to Los Angeles in 2023.
Breeze began operations in May 2021. The airline announced in August that it would open a base of operations in Rhode Island next year.
