A Burrillville man was arrested after he was involved in a motor vehicle crash Saturday afternoon, according to authorities.

Jeremy Chieffallo, 38, was arrested and faces several charges including operating with a suspended license and reckless driving.

Troopers responded to Route 146 in North Providence around 2 p.m.

State police told NBC 10 News that a black Ford crashed into the center barrier and then hit a red Toyota before coming to a full stop.

It's unclear as to which vehicle Chieffallo was driving.

The department also noted that there was a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for the Burrillville man for failing to appear for a sentencing.

Chieffollo and the other driver involved were transported to Rhode Island Hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time.

State police told NBC 10 that he's still in the hospital.

Chieffallo is expected to face a judge once he's medically cleared.
