Bus fire outside Chariho High School causes concern
An unoccupied school bus was on fire outside Chariho High School late Thursday afternoon.
Several NBC 10 News viewers said they saw smoke pouring from an area near the school just before 5 p.m.
As they got closer, they noticed that a school bus had caught on fire.
Authorities said the fire was confined to the engine compartment, also noting that the bus was under repair at the time of the fire.
No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time.
