Cranston native to serve as honorary pallbearer for Bush
The funeral for President George H. W. Bush will take place Wednesday morning.
Rhode Island Congressman Jim Langevin and Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker are expected to attend.
One of the honorary pallbearers, who carried Bush’s casket into the Capitol, is a Rhode Island native.
Navy Rear Admiral Andrew Loiselle will serve as a pallbearer, according to the Providence Journal,
Loiselle is a native of Cranston and graduated from Bishop Hendricken before becoming a fighter pilot with the Navy and eventually commander of the aircraft carrier George H.W. Bush.
