Fall River police respond to 3 reports of gunfire in 2 hours

Fall River police said Tuesday that gunfire was reported at three different locations in less than two hours.

Investigators haven't said if the scenes are connected, but no one was hurt.

Police said the first shooting was reported at about 11:05 p.m. Monday near 220 Johnson St. They said officers saw several bullet holes in the building and that they recovered numerous shell casings.

Police responded to a second report of shots fired at 340 Buffinton St. about 10 minutes later. Officers found spent shell casings in the street.

A third report for shots fired came in at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at Covel and Bedford streets.

Police have not said if they've made any arrests.
