WEST WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) -- A smoky fire in a vacant mill building in West Warwick is being called suspicious, according to fire officials.
Battalion Chief Paul Boisclair told NBC 10 News that the flames came from 100 Pulaski St. at about midnight Sunday.
Firefighters had to spend about half an hour clearing the trees and brush from around the vacant mill, as well as fighting the fire.
Boisclair said there was a fire in the same building about three or four years ago.
No firefighters were hurt.
The state fire marshal is scheduled to return to the scene later on Sunday to continue the investigation.
