Taste of RI is back!

This is the second year for this resurrected event. More than 50 local establishments will be there, offering food and drink samples, all for the price of admission. One of the beneficiaries will be the Mae Organization for the homeless as it works to raise enough funds to open a new Wellness Center. The other beneficiaries? Our local eateries.

“We want people to walk away with a sense of wow, that was a great restaurant and I want to go again and they frequent the restaurant after the event,” said Pat Paolino Cruz, event organizer.

Taste of RI is Wednesday, June 5 from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Crowne Plaza. Tickets are $60 in advance for general admission and $95 for VIP tickets.
