Gubernatorial candidate's yacht takes on water
A 65-foot yacht took on water after it hit rocks Sunday morning, according to the Coast Guard.
The Coast Guard says the incident happened at about 11 a.m. at the Charlestown Breachway State Beach. Four people were on board.
The Charlestown Harbormaster told NBC 10 News that the Lady M belongs to gubernatorial candidate Joseph Trillo. However, the Charlestown Harbormaster could not confirm if Trillo was on board at the time of the incident.
The harbormaster says the people on the boat were campaigning for the candidate.
No injuries were reported.
