Man charged after intentionally crashing vehicle in ex-girlfriend’s vehicle
Coventry Police responded to an accident on North Road Thursday night.
That is where investigators learned that a man had intentionally struck the vehicle of a female he had previously been in a relationship with.
Police charged Geoffrey Warburton, 24 of Coventry, with Driving to Endanger and Domestic Felony Assault for the incident.
According to investigators, Warburton drove his vehicle at the victim’s vehicle, causing a collision that injured both individuals.
Police arrested Warburton on the scene. Warburton and the victim were then both transported to the hospital for treatment.
Both were later released say police.
In his arraignment, Warburton was given a No Contact Order. At the time Warburton was out on bail for an April 20th arrest for Domestic Strangulation and other domestic crimes against the same female victim, and so he was ordered to be held as a bail violator at ACI.
He is expected to appear in court on July 31st.
