PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police said a man was critically injured in a drive-by shooting.

The man was shot at Rushmore Avenue and Maynard Street at about 11 p.m. Thursday.

Police said there were two people parked in a car when shots came from another vehicle, possibly a newer model Chrysler.

There was no immediate information about a woman in the car.

Police said no arrests have been made.
