New Bedford man accused of stealing lottery tickets

A New Bedford man is accused of stealing lottery tickets from his employer.

Wareham police said they responded to the Cumberland Farms store on Depot Street at about 11:15 a.m. Thursday.

The store reported that an employee stole about $3,400 worth of lottery tickets over the past month.

Police said Matthew Christianson, 28, of New Bedford was arrested and charged with larceny over $1,200.

Christianson was booked at the police department and sent to court to be arraigned.
