Smithfield Police say a female employee was selling cocaine out of a burger restaurant.

Investigators arrested two Tuesday after executing a search warrant at Copperfield’s Burger & Beer House, located on 9 Cedar Swamp Road.

Alaina C. Bonafiglia, 33 of Johnston and John F. Manfredi, 39 of Providence were arrested and charged with cocaine possession, intent to deliver, and conspiracy to violate the Uniformed Controlled Substance Act.

The arrests come after a two-month investigation by the Smithfield Police Department.

Bonafiglia and Manfredi are expected to be arraigned in Kent County District Court.
