Police searching for man who stole boots from Bob's Stores

Cranston police released surveillance images of a man who they say stole boots from Bob's Stores on Oaklawn Avenue.

The Cranston Police Department is asking the public to help them identify a man who they said stole some boots from Bob's Stores.

Authorities said the man walked into the Bob's Stores location on Oaklawn Avenue wearing old sneakers.

But when he left, he was sporting new a pair of boots authorities said he didn’t pay for.

“He was wearing a pair of tan and black Nike sneakers,” police noted on Facebook. “The suspect went into the men’s footwear section and replaced the Nike’s with a new pair of black Lugz boots. He exited the store without paying for the merchandise.”
