While at the scene police discovered and seized 27 guns, three crossbows and 8 pounds of marijuana.
Major Dennis Leahey told NBC10 that a 911 call came in from Bruce Quebec's wife about a domestic incident between her husband and son involving a knife. The father and son, who both live at the home, were injured during the fight and transported to the Rhode Island hospital via rescue.
"Bruce was treated and released and I don't know what the status of the son is at this point," Leahey said.
Neither of the Quebec men had any prior arrests, according to Leahey. The 27 firearms, which included shotguns, rifles and handguns, belonged to the senior Quebec who is an avid hunter, according to police.
Both Daniel and Bruce Quebec were arraigned before a bail commissioner and were each released on $20,000 personal recognizance and a were issued a no contact order. Both are due back in court on March 16, 2016, according to court records.
