Police: two arrested on drug and firearm charges

Police have arrested two individuals in Providence on drug and fire arm charges after a three-month investigation.

The Providence Police Department arrested Janilka Caraballo, 25 of Providence, and Javier Morales, 34 of Central Falls, in connection to a variety of narcotics and firearms found in a home on 3 Kepler Street.

Investigators believe the Kepler location distributed narcotics.

After executing a search warrant, police say they found: 226 grams of fentanyl, 115 grams of cocaine, 130 Ecstasy pills and about $4,000 in cash.

Police also found three loaded firearms: a Taurus Millennium G2 9mm pistol, a Glock 43 9mm pistol and an American Tactical 223 caliber AR Rifle.

Caraballo is charged:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver cocaine.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver over an ounce of cocaine.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver fentanyl,
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver MDMA.
  • P Possession with Intent to Deliver a schedule 4 controlled substance.
  • Possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence.
  • Conspiracy.

Morales is charged with:

  • Possession with Intent to Deliver cocaine.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver over an ounce of cocaine.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver fentanyl.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver MDMA.
  • Possession with Intent to Deliver a schedule 4 controlled substance.
  • Possession of a firearm while committing a crime of violence.
  • Conspiracy.
  • Possession of a firearm after being convicted of a crime of violence.
