PROVIDENCE, R.I. (WJAR) — Providence police confirmed Wednesday that two officers have been placed on "administrative duty" following concerns about their response to the Denison Street shooting scene on Feb. 10.
Investigators apparently want to know if their response was delayed or whether they showed up at all.
Many police officers responded to the call for an armed man holed up inside his apartment after a domestic dispute with his children.
Police eventually exchanged hundreds of shots with the man, who wound up killing himself in the end.
Disciplinary action could follow a full internal investigation into this matter, and others, involving the still unnamed officers who have not been suspended, but placed on desk duty at headquarters,
