WARWICK, R.I. (WJAR) — Rhode Island Kids Count released its annual Factbook for the year.
The book highlights data on diversity and population in the state.
In 2020, almost half of babies born were poeple of color.
The report found 16% of Black children and 13% of Hispanic children live in poverty, compared to only 1% of white children.
The report also touches on topics of education, health and economic wellbeing.
